I'm just a woman that does not know much about a car except put the key in the ingnition and start the engine. One of the things I have been leary of is the mechanic that would take advantage of a woman and try and charge for work that is not needed or overcharge here for work he did.

I have found Mike of Mechanics Pride to be a honest mechanic with integrity. He takes the time to explain to me what needs to be fixed and why. He will also help me understand other things to keep an eye on in the future.

I was in the market for getting a used car, but did not want to spend too much money. I felt some what confident that if I paid more money at a more reptuable dealing, I would probably be OK. However, I needed to get to work and money was an issue.

A friend said I shoud take my potential car over to Mechanics Pride for a pre-purchase check-up. He told me that the small amount of money I would spend for a inspection would save me from buying a lemon and much heartache later.

I figured Mechanics Pride would want to do a good job because I could be a returning customer. They were right. The first car I took in they said it was not worth the purchase price because there were too many things to fix after I bought the car. Boy, am I glad I did not buy that car.

I found one that was a little more expensive, took it in and they said this one was in good shape and gave me a list of things that should be taken care of, but were not urgent to the driving of the car immediately.running good.

I took my car into Mechanics Pride to get it ready for the winter weather. What I did not know was that my tires were dangerously worn along the inside part. I had a air bubble that could have been trouble later on.

If I had not done that, I would have never known I had the problem. Anyhow, I got my tires replaced and got the car winterized. I feel better now.
